How We Teach
Our experienced instructors help each student practice the asanas for their individual bodies by utilizing teaching methods with clear demonstrations, precise language and individualized instructions and adjustments to foster students understanding of how to enter, maintain and exit asanas.
iYoga has a full complement of props including, belts, bricks, bolsters, and chairs that our instructors use to help all students find their optimal poses.
Our instructors undergo rigorous training and are tested by a national organization. Iyengar Certification is the most rigorous yoga certification in the United States. It takes years to become an Iyengar teacher not hours. Iyengar Yoga teachers continue to study and practice to maintain their certification. Meet our instructors.
