Certified Level 3 Iyengar Yoga Instructor
Colleen is the ONLY certified senior Iyengar teacher in the state of Florida.
Her principal teacher has been Patricia Walden, Boston as well as traveling to Pune, India numerous times to study at the Iyengar Institute.
She was the first Iyengar instructor in Palm Beach County and has mentored numerous teachers in the process of becoming certified Iyengar yoga instructors. Colleen has a patient, encouraging teaching style, combining a hard work ethic with a sense of fun and lightness to deliver a meaningful class.
Besides her passion for yoga, Colleen loves to sew, knit and bake. Her banana bread is to die for!

Jill is a passionate Iyengar practitioner. Her love of the practice is readily experienced in her compassionate and thorough teaching style.
Jill moved to Palm Beach County in 2019 and is excited to be studying with Colleen Gallagher and making friends at IYoga Delray Beach.
Stephanie Dodge
Certified Level 1 Iyengar Yoga Instructor
Stephanie has been a certified Iyengar yoga teacher since 1998 and has studied with B.K.S. Iyengar, his daughter Geeta, his granddaughter Abijata and many of the senior teachers in this country.
Stephanie loves to share her knowledge of yoga and has a unique gentle way about her that will leave you feeling refreshed revived and blissful. She opened Boca Raton’s first yoga studio Boca Yoga in 1996 and Boca’s first health food Juice Bar in 1985 when she was 18 years old!
In addition to yoga Stephanie loves to play frisbee and make vegan/raw pastries
Laura Plofchan
Certified Level 1 Iyengar Yoga Instructor
Laura is a genuine caregiver in every sense of the word. After teaching group fitness classes, raising four children, owning and managing an eldercare company and numerous volunteer activities, she discovered yoga.
Laura began practicing Iyengar yoga in 2013. Her teachers include Colleen Gallagher, Judy Rosenzweig, Marti Parker-Krauss, Stephanie Dodge, & Juli Kagan.
Ross Holland
Certified Level 1 Iyengar Yoga Instructor
Ross started practicing yoga almost 20 years ago back in NY while recovering from a lower back injury. After moving to Florida he completed a Yoga Alliance 200 hour certification and a 300 hour yoga teaching certification studying hatha, vinyasa and other yoga disciplines.
As he was completing his 300 YA certification he took an Iyengar Yoga class with Colleen Gallagher and was immediately drawn to the Iyengar method. He began studying with Colleen Gallagher and other senior teachers and was certified as an Iyengar yoga teacher in October 2016.
Ross lives in Fort Lauderdale with his two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Mookie & Gigi. In addition to his passion for practicing and teaching yoga, Ross is an avid crossword puzzle enthusiast
Juli Kagan
Certified Level 1 Iyengar Yoga Instructor
Passionate about intelligent movement and devoted to life-long learning, Juli has a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology.
A true teacher, her greatest joy is sharing her knowledge. Before teaching yoga Juli taught Pilates as a Master Instructor and authored the book Mind Your Body.
Her love of Iyengar Yoga is boundless, and she routinely practices with some of the most respected teachers in the country.
Glenn Isaacson
Certified Level 1 Iyengar Yoga Instructor
Glenn obtained his Iyengar Yoga Level 1 certification in 2021, under the tutelage of his mentor Colleen Gallagher. He has attended intensive Iyengar Yoga workshops held by Senior Iyengar Yoga instructors Patricia Walden, John Schumacher and others.
Glenn first began his yoga journey in 2013 in order to increase his mobility and flexibility in hopes of improving his racquet game, but immediately fell in love with the Iyengar method. He has since learned to embrace and deepen the spiritual side of his yoga practice, in addition to his appreciation of its physical benefits.
Originally from NYC, he’s found that a regular yoga practice has helped create distance from the frenetic pace that had been so ingrain
Sylwia Lesnik
Yoga Instructor
Sylwia is a dedicated yoga teacher with over twenty years of experience. She began her yoga journey in her late teens and has been practicing ever since. When asked about her introduction to yoga, she often replies that yoga found her rather than the other way around. She feels a deep connection to the practice, believing it was always a part of her, waiting to be discovered. She has traveled around the world, including India, where she studied with the most renowned Iyengar yoga teachers.
With a degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion, Sylwia combines traditional yoga practices with modern scientific knowledge. She specializes in Iyengar yoga; a style known for its precise alignment and focus on detail. Through her teachings, she aims to help students of all levels improve their physical and mental well-being.
Sylwia believes that yoga is a journey of self-discovery. She guides her students to explore their bodies and minds, fostering a deeper understanding of themselves. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced practitioner, Sylwia’s compassionate and knowledgeable approach can help you unlock your full potential.
Lois Leonhardi
Yoga Instructor
Lois has been a dedicated yoga practitioner since 1995, drawing inspiration from her principal teacher, Richard Freeman, who studied under the renowned Pattabhi Jois and BKS Iyengar within the Krishnamacharya lineage. In addition to her studies of both Ashtanga and Iyengar yoga, Lois has also explored the transformative practices of Dzogchen meditation and the holistic principles of Ayurveda, yoga’s sister science. She is the author of “The Essential Ayurvedic Cookbook,” a wellness-focused textbook and cookbook.
When she’s not teaching, Lois enjoys slacklining and experimenting in the kitchen to create new, nourishing dishes. She is excited to share her passion for yoga and wellness with the iYoga community.
Lauren Amrita
Yoga Instructor
Lauren is a 500-hour Registered Yoga Instructor. She is certified in Anusara Inspired Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and is well versed in Iyengar Yoga. She is also a certified Medical Qigong practice leader.
Lauren’s classes, while alignment based with a focus on breath awareness, also explore somatic movements. She enjoys weaving a theme throughout her classes. Additionally, she offers community circles, yoga nidra with sound healing workshops, and private/semi-private sessions. Her offerings cultivate deep relaxation and well-being for the body, mind, and spirit.
Lauren also practices Tantra, chanting, movement, breathwork, and ritual. Her practice cultivates presence, freedom, joyfulness and a deep connection to her true essence.
Lauren’s vivacious personality and authentic, compassionate heart allow her to connect with students of all backgrounds and abilities. She will always be a student of the practice, and is deeply grateful for the loving wisdom all her teachers have shared with her.
